What is this module for?
From 27 September 2026, web shops selling to consumers in the European Union have to show the harmonised legal guarantee notice of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/1960. When a manufacturer offers a guarantee of durability longer than 2 years on a product, the official GARAN label has to be shown with the product too. The module brings the official text and artwork in all 24 EU languages and shows them in the shopper's language in the footer, in the checkout and in the order confirmation e-mail, and on the invoice if wanted. It builds the GARAN label from rules set by brand, category or product. It also finds the generic environmental claims in product names and descriptions that Directive 2024/825 bans from the same day.

Guarantee length set by brand, category or product. The label carries the manufacturer and the product field you choose.

Green-claims check
Finds the banned generic environmental claims in product names and descriptions, in every language. The texts are not changed.
Missing data list
Shows which guaranteed product misses the manufacturer or the model identifier, and opens the product in one click.

Do you need a developer?
No. Upload the ZIP file in the Module Manager and the module works right away with its default settings. A rule is only needed when a manufacturer offers a guarantee of durability longer than 2 years.

What customers ask most often
Is the notice mandatory in my web shop?
In web shops selling to consumers in the European Union, yes, from 27 September 2026. By default the module shows it in the footer, in the checkout and in the order confirmation e-mail.
When is a GARAN label needed?
When the manufacturer offers a guarantee of durability longer than 2 years on the whole product, at no extra cost. The length is set in the module by a brand, category or product rule.
Where does the module take the brand and the model from?
The brand is the manufacturer of the product, the model identifier is the product field you choose: reference, MPN, EAN-13, UPC, ISBN or a product feature. It can be overridden per product.
In which languages is it shown?
In all 24 EU languages, in the official version of the shopper's language. For other languages a fallback language can be chosen.
Does the green-claims check rewrite product texts?
No. It shows the findings with the surrounding text; fixing them is up to the shop owner. A finding can be marked as reviewed with a note.
Does it slow the shop down?
No. The module draws each label image once and stores it, and the check runs in small batches from the scheduled address.
What happens when the module is uninstalled?
Settings, rules and findings stay in the database; after reinstalling, everything is back.
